The 3M™ Littmann® Master Cardiology™ Stethoscope features adjustable diaphragm technology (3M innovation) that allows clinicians to hear sounds at different frequencies simply by adjusting the pressure in the listener bell. Unlike ambidextrous models, there is no need to rotate and reposition the listener bell.

To listen to low-frequency sounds, hold the audible bell with light pressure; press slightly harder to hear higher-frequency sounds. This time-saving feature allows the healthcare professional to focus on the patient, while the non-chilling edge provides comfort to the patient.
Earpiece tension is easily adjusted to fit head size and comfort by compressing or pulling the earpieces together. Patented 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope Sealing Earpieces are securely attached, soft, sealing earpieces that provide a comfortable fit and excellent acoustic isolation. The earpieces fit snugly onto the ends of the earpiece springs and require careful effort to remove securely. The durable, next-generation tubing maintains its shape and flexibility even when tightly folded and pocketed. Improved resistance to skin oils and alcohols ensures a longer stethoscope lifespan and reduces the likelihood of staining. The next-generation tubing is made without natural rubber latex and phthalate plasticizers to benefit discerning clinicians and patients and to play a role in protecting human health and the environment. The Classic III stethoscope is manufactured in the USA to ensure consistent quality.
